In order to receive communications from the Oakland County Sheriff's Department on breaking news in your community visit their website and sign up for Community Alerts.  When you open the sheriff's homepage you will see a box entitled Community Alerts.  Clicking on that box will open a pop-up window where you can provide your e-mail address (please disable the pop-up blocker if the window does not appear).
