Center Nutrition Program

The Highland Adult Activity Center has a full nutrition program, serving both the senior center (congregate) and homebound seniors in the community. The nutrition program is provided through a contract with Western Oakland Meals on Wheels. The food is prepared off site and transported to the center daily. The Meals On Wheels are delivered Monday through Friday by volunteers. There is a suggested $3.00 donation per meal and a forty-eight hour working day notice is required for each meal reservation. Liquid meals are also available by prescription.
