The Highland Township Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operation of the township and is responsible for administration of personnel, purchasing and budgeting. The Supervisor directly oversees the Assessing, Planning, Zoning, Building and Ordinance Departments and is the Agent for the transaction of township legal business. The Supervisor's staff is called on to serve and inform Highland residents and to mediate on their behalf when necessary. They also address inquiries, complaints and suggestions relating to township, county, state and federal issues.
